CANBERRA is seeking a Quality Engineer in UK.
Job description
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
• Assist the Quality-Health-Security-Environment Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the Business Management System
• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing Departments to ensure development and manufacture of new products are in accordance with RCC-E requirements for nuclear power plants
• Conduct audits, create audit reports and determine the proper corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for process related issues
• Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
• Master Degree with Quality specialization or equivalent degree (Engineering school or universities with specialization in electrical, quality, industrial engineering)
• A first professional experience working on a nuclear licensed site would be a plus
• In-depth knowledge of QA standards (particularly ISO9001:2008)
• RCC-E knowledge
• Good knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma would be a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem solving skill - ability to identify root causes
• Good organizational skill
• Good basic IT skills
