We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager (m/f). This is a challenging position with ambitious goals, involving customer care and managing our customers as well as developing new business relationships. It aims to further expand our success in our business activities and to support the AREVA Renewable strategy. The Manager will be based Bremen/ Germany. - Sole responsibility for solution-oriented customer care and advice for existing customers and the implementation of sales targets
- Profitable development of the business in the countries/regions
- Responsibility for order intake, sales and P&L in own sector
- Responsibility to build a pipe and qualify "best" opportunity to maximize hit ratio and minimize unnecessary pre-sales and tendering efforts.
Proper evaluation and mitigation of the technical, commercial and financial risks involved in the Projects under his responsibility (Analysis of the project development files, validation of the Business Plans, risks assessment and mitigation plan) Acquisition of new customers, project work, proposal preparation, contract negotiations and conclusion of contracts in respective sector with the support of the Unit Commercial Team Developing professional and value-based business relations with new and existing customers. Active participation in and implementation of sales strategy of a market leader Strategic internal and external networking Support communication and PR activity in close cooperation with the Communication Coordinator AREVA Bioenergy Europe Reporting to the Commercial Manager
- University Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, renewable energy or equivalent
- Experience in technical sales of complex products, ideally in the renewable energy biomass sector and project execution. The engineer shall have a double competency: Technical & Commercial
- Autonomous, rigorous and flexible since the activity is a developing activity
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Strategic selling / negotiating are main strengths and a proven track record of sales success in the past exists.
- Strengths include independent and customer-oriented work, a good ability to work under pressure and a high degree of creativity
- Success-oriented and enjoying working in a competitive, dynamic environment
- Good team-player and highly committed, possession of good organizational, communicational and negotiation skills, conflict management, social skills, intercultural tolerance and high willingness to travel
- Native language is German or English and you are fluent in another language (negotiations level)
