Job Description
We have a challenging opportunity available for an Engineering & Construction Engineer II at Tolk Station in Muleshoe, TX.
As and E&C Engineer II, you will be responsible for routine engineering and design tasks of the assigned projects based on specific and detailed instructions received from the assigned supervisor as to the required tasks and results expected. You will also be the plant contact for the central engineering group and assist as needed in the design and installation with all plant capital projects.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assigned specific projects to complete under the direction of an experienced engineer. Responsible for following project responsibilities as defined for the assigned project position.
  • Assists technical service personnel in proper execution of drawings.
  • Maintains a thorough, current knowledge of new and innovative techniques in the engineering field.
  • May serve as a representative of the company when participating in check-out, start-up, and tests of new or retrofitted systems under supervision of the field engineering staff or assigned supervisor.
  • Comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures and financial obligations that would apply to projects.
  • Competent with standard server software applications such as e-mail, spreadsheet, word processing, database, etc. Familiar with CADD applications.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum (equivalency to an ABET accredited degree would be recognized by ABET as having "substantial equivalency" or through a "mutual recognized agreement")
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years engineering related experience in power plant operation, maintenance, construction, or design
  • Occasional periods of field/office work entailing travel
  • Will be required to work in an office, on a construction site, as well as an industrial plant environment
