We anticipate the need for one Garage-Section Foreman to be located at Minot, North Dakota. In this position you will perform maintenance and repair on Fleet Vehicles. The Garage Foreman is responsible for creating schedules and determining work assignments based on job priorities, skills of assigned personnel and availability of need tools and equipment. They monitor work areas to make sure they are safe and workers follow standard safety procedures; examine tools and equipment in use to make sure they are safe and are not defective. The starting rate of pay for this position will be as defined in the labor agreement. Job Responsibilities (May include, but not limited to the following)
Xcel Energy 1. Must be a Journeyman mechanic 2. High school diploma or GED 3. A two year technical, vocational or trade school diploma or degree in automotive, truck, and/or heavy equipment is desired 4. Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively 5. A minimum of five years verifiable experience in the automotive/truck maintenance field is required 6. Drug/Alcohol testing as required by the DOT 7. Must meet driver qualification requirements as specified in FMCSR Parts 382 and 391 including the possession of a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A 8. Furnish own tools, standard and metric in accordance with the Dept tool list 9. A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times 10. Mobile repair experience desired Special Requirements 1. Ability to lift 80 or more pounds routinely 2. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communications 3. Provide consistent quality customer satisfaction 4. Must maintain a high level and awareness of safety, quality customer service, with a demonstrated commitment to working safely and effectively | |
