This is a modified reposting of req 12666. Those who have already applied, will be given consideration and do not need to reapply. This is a multi level position. Successful candidate will be evaluated and selected based on their level of experience / education. Gr. 5 Associate Engineer through Gr. 7 Sr. Engineer. If non-degreed, offer will be based on a combination of education and experience, as a technical analyst, Grade 6. This position is responsible for the management of the Salem Station Proactive maintenance Program/Process. Responsibilities include: Assessment and review of maintenance work order feedback for all corrective, preventive and condition directed tasks, analysis of the feedback, and implementing/tracking of appropriate changes to the maintenance task balance based on the learning from work completed. Providing key input to the station maintenance, work control and leadership in order to minimize the Corrective Maintenance backlog and optimize Preventive maintenance tasks. Identifying failures requiring further causal analysis and participating in the appropriate failure analysis will be required. Providing feedback to craft on status of requests and provide craft education on the feedback process. Managing/coordinating the sites application and revision of the Performance Centered Maintenance (PCM) Templates including implementation of the latest templates. Developing, maintaining, and publishing the proactive maintenance and performance centered maintenance performance indicators and periodic reports to plant management. REQUIRED: • BS Degree in Engineering, or related science, is required for Engineering growth series, grades 6-7, with a minimum of two years experience in nuclear power plant operations, maintenance, planning, work management or engineering. • As an Associate Engineer, Grade 5 requires a Technical Engineering degree but there is no requirement associate with experience. • Non-degreed, technical analyst, the position requires six years experience in nuclear power plant operations, maintenance, planning or work management. • The position requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft word processing applications. • Strong interpersonal and interdepartmental communication skills (written & verbal). • Must meet nuclear’s requirements for unescorted site access. • Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment.
