Job Description
The purpose of the System Integration & Verification is to ensure competitive and reliable performance of our new offshore turbines in AREVA Wind.
The responsibilities of Head of System Integration & Verification includes
  • Top level specification for new turbines
  • Turbine Technical Architectural Design
  • Operational Strategies for the turbine/wind park
  • Load, Aerodynamics and Control design loops and performance optimization
  • Sub system specific approval
  • Verification and validation planning for new turbines
  • Verification and validation for new turbines
  • Develop and implement verification strategy e.g. test center
  • Develop network of partners and subcontractors for verification
  • New Turbine Roadmap
All System Integration & Verification will be embedded into our new turbine development programs and will be done in collaboration with the Engineering department in AREVA Wind
  • Engineer or M.Sc.
  • Strong background in Wind and Wind Turbine System Integration
  • Experience with virtual design development tools
  • 8-10 Years of program management experience from R&D
  • Experience with LAC design loops - Loads, Aerodynamic & Control
  • Experience with Turbine architecture
  • Experience with Verification testing and HALT testing - and certification
  • Strong English and preferably good German language skills
  • A strong leader with proven track record in this field of work
  • Visionary technical leader
  • A good change manager profile
  • Structured and result oriented team player
  • A good understanding of the commercial aspects of product-/service development
  • Strong communication skills
