Job Description
Responsible for coordinating, implementing and managing all aspects of the Licensed Operations Training Program for Hope Creek Generating Station. Serve as simulator instructor in the assigned area of the Hope Creek Operations Training including instruction of trainees and maintenance of records. Gather pertinent information necessary for the development of new, and revision of existing, material. Develop, review and revise training procedure program descriptions included in the training program. Work with Training Supervisor to define training needs and evaluate their effectiveness. Lead/evaluate simulator scenarios. Provide instructor Continuing Training Instruction to peers. Interface with Simulator support personnel regarding Simulator performance and fidelity issues. Progression in the position will be to a Program Lead. Monitor, track and report on student performance to operations management. Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls.
REQUIRED:
• Nuclear Operations Experience is required, with BS Degree as preferred. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
• Prior or current BWR SRO License or Certification or the ability to obtain SRO certification.
• Meet requirements for unescorted nuclear site access.
• Must be qualified or capable of being qualified as a Simulator Instructor.

Note: At this level an associate is able to operate the simulator and instruct on the floor of the simulator. Some shift work may be required for training.
