Job Description
This internship provides the student with an opportunity to apply statistical analysis and modeling in a real business setting. Results are utilized in reports to gauge business results and forecast next steps. This internship will start right away and will require a 12 month commitment. Please include a copy of college transcript(s) with the submitted application/resume (unofficial transcripts are acceptable). Please indicate expected graduation date.
Summary
Compile and develop energy data and statistics into meaningful reports for various internal and external clients. Assist Analysts by designing spreadsheets, databases, procuring data, and producing necessary analytical reports. Candidate will also learn electric industry specific software.

This a paid position for 20 hours per week during academic periods, and up to 40 hours per week during non-academic periods including summer and school breaks. Flexible school year schedule available based on student course load and schedule.

Requirements

  • College Sophomore or higher status.
  • Pursuing a technical major such as economics, statistics, math, business, engineering, computer science.
  • Possess basic computer skills, preferably with MicroSoft Windows applications such as Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Good organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
