Job Description:
Piping layout, piping stress analysis and compliance with the ASME BPVC Section III code. Piping stress analysis for ASME Class 2 and 3 nuclear power piping, ASME B31.1 and B31.3 piping systems. Equipment qualification and pipe support design. Perform and document plant walk-downs, calculations, specifications, and configuration of existing piping as installed in plant.
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Educational knowledge of:
    • thermal design,
    • finite element analysis,
    • fluid mechanics,
    • thermodynamics,
    • piping stress analysis, and
    • ASME piping codes
