Job Description:
Using SPACE and FUNBASE, develop control system engineering designs for safety-related Teleperm XS Digital Control Systems and database specifications for generation of Teleperm XS application software for use in nuclear power plants. Utilize SIVAT software for simulation of engineering designs and verification of functional application design software. Design, develop, analyze, evaluate Engineering Change (EC) packages, instrument set-point and accuracy calculations, instrumentation and control system evaluations, testing requirements, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, and resolution of field problems primarily in support of nuclear power plant engineering of modification projects. Ensure compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards, policies, and procedures in design and implementation work.
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.
  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering or, B.S. in Electrical Engineering plus five years of progressive experience in the field of instrumentation and controls engineering.
  • Knowledge of :
    • nuclear power plant modification engineering processes,
    • instrument setpoint and accuracy calculations,
    • digital I &C control systems,
    • Teleperm XS system development software and application to safety-related control system design.
