Job Description
This encompasses the Maintenance and Modifications Contractor (MMC) as well as all contract organizations reporting to Maintenance Services. Must have a working knowledge of the General Presidents Project Maintenance Agreement (GPPMA) and other union agreements. Must possess the ability to interface with Legal, Industrial Relations and Union officials. Create MMC, and other, contract bid specifications. Responsible for Contract negotiations related to vendor services being performed at PSEG Nuclear. Ability to interface with Supply Chain organization on solicitation, negotiation and award of vendor services. Ability to perform technical analysis of bid specifications. Perform cost comparisons of vendor estimates and provide financial and data analysis. Plan and forecast MMC vendor service requirements to support on-line and outage work windows. Coordinate vendor staffing, ramp-up plans and training prior to the commencement of work. Perform budget planning and management of contract services. Provide contract oversight to ensure vendor services are being performed within budget and the terms and conditions of the contract. Knowledge of SAP, Finance & Work Management Modules and Work Management process. In addition to above, oversees and coordinates the work being performed by outside engineering and construction contractors or other internal departments. Provides technical expertise, schedule, status and administrative support necessary to protect the assets of the Company. Duties are performed in accordance with engineering, construction and maintenance/operations standards. Participates in the preparations of agreements for work/service to be performed and the development of project milestones. Conducts walk-downs of site with installation team. Reviews packages for installation requirements. Monitors performance and recommends changes to schedules, cost increases or allocation of additional resources necessary to complete the project as determined by the project. Oversees the daily operations, assesses schedule compliance, quality of work and condition of material and equipments. Resolves technical problems in order to limit the involvement of other organizations. Assesses project status and develops recommendations for changes to the contract, negotiates with contractor management and presents course of action to responsible PSEG manager. Provides feedback to internal departments providing workforce support. Implements agreements and changes as necessary to meet commitments and planned objectives.

REQUIRED:
BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent or a combination of education/experience. 7 Years Nuclear Power Experience.. In-depth knowledge of Maintenance Standards/Nuclear Procedures/Programs. Must meet nuclear’s requirements for unescorted plant access. DESIRED: Construction/Maintenance experience.
