Job Description
General responsibilities include:
· Assigns and supervises the daily work performed by services crew employees, involving plumbers, carpenters, heavy equipment operators, general maintenance operators, as well as, the heavy and light duty mechanics and trades apprentices.
· Administer personnel functions of assigned crew (vacation scheduling, overtime allocation and approval, discipline, evaluations).
· Keeps a daily report, as well as, issues a daily report to the Surface General Supervisor. Composes a weekly summary to pass over to the cross shift supervisor.
· Promote adherence to the McClean Lake Quality Assurance Management System and ensuring that all corporate, site, or regulated programs, policies or procedures and safety programs are adhered to.
· Completion of maintenance and repairs of all site mobile equipment and light duty vehicles and ensure that the maintenance repairs are completed in a cost and time efficient manner, while optimizing equipment availability.
· Assess equipment condition establishing daily, weekly and long term maintenance schedules of routine repairs and overhaul projects.
· Mentor and coach department personnel to achieve higher skill levels.
· Review the continuing applicability of departmental quality procedures and work instructions, developing new or modifying existing whenever necessary ensuring the training of and the consistant implementation of those procedures.
· Confirm that all company documentation submitted is accurate and thoroughly completed (timecards, work orders, inspection sheets, etc).

Qualifications for the position include:
· Should have knowledge in plumbing and welding.
· Knowledge and experience in the repair, maintenance and operation of light and heavy duty equipment.
· Computer software knowledge including Microsoft Office. SAP experience is considered as asset.
· Expresses professional composure.
Work Location & Schedule: McClean Lake 7 in / 7 out - 77 hours/week
