Global Manufacturing:
Global Manufacturing is part of the Delivery Group within AREVA Solar. This is an exciting, agile, fast paced operation challenged with delivering large, high volume components to our Global projects.
This position will work closely with all departments within AREVA Solar to establish processes, system & controls to provide confidence in our delivered product.
Job description :
As Manufacturing QA/QC Supervisor, you will:
  • Develop and implement Quality Control Plans & Procedures for Manufacturing Operations in India
  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans
Additional responsibilities are:
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Operations in India to ensure acceptable Product is delivered to clients
  • Set-up and ensure efficient operation of Document Control within Manufacturing
  • Participate in selection and training of Inspection and Test personnel
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of Inspection and Test personnel and activities
  • Monitor and report on Manufacturing Quality performance
  • Ensure timely processing of all Quality issues requiring resolution
  • Review and report on Quality Documents from suppliers
  • Conduct reviews of processes and procedures to ensure ongoing effectiveness of the Quality System
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to other Manufacturing staff to ensure they understand Quality requirements
  • Assist in driving a Quality and Continuous Improvement culture within Manufacturing
  • Implement program designed to reduce Cost of Non-Quality and increase client satisfaction
  • Prepare appropriate audit matrix, then undertake or participate in Manufacturing Operations audits
  • Monitor and manage the timely reporting and closeout of corrective actions
You will work in a team-environment and develop a strong sense of personal achievement.
You will be responsible for manufacturing facility QC personnel at one or more manufacturing facilities.
You will interact with US based personnel in Mountain View, Las Vegas & Indian Project QA and QC.
International travel will be frequent.
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
· Bachelors degree or equivalent and 5 experience Manufacturing Quality Assurance / Quality Control field
· Interpretation of technical drawings
· ISO9000 Quality System development experience
· ISO9000 implementation/accreditation experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
The following requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.
· Auditor training
· Strong Manufacturing experience, preferably in a metals fabrication environment
· Ability to effectively work across borders and cultures
Frequent international travel has to be considered.
