Position Summary The primary job purpose is to support the PPL EnergyPlus retail gas marketing business by providing support for marketing/sales and operations activity. This shall include but not be limited to customer relationship management, sales administration, market research and analysis, operations/scheduling at the distribution company level and management of supply and customer consumption imbalances. Primary Responsibilities 1. Support the retail gas marketing team by coordinating all administrative aspects of customer acquisition including credit approvals, proposal generation and customer database management. Maintain a marketing calendar of activities and upcoming bid deadlines. Prepare Sales and Marketing Activity Reports in the CRM tool.

2. Maintain professional relationships with key operations / procurement personnel at each customer facility location, as well as the customer's designated energy consultants for purposes of providing ongoing account management, implementing hedge strategies, responding to renewal business opportunities and securing new business.

3. Coordinate and schedule energy flows to customers at the distribution company level. Manage customer imbalances and optimize energy delivery schedules to minimize costs associated with supply for retail customers.

4. Monitor applicable industry systems for important operational notices that impact the flow of energy in markets that PPL has a position or serves customers.

5. Contribute to the development of marketing business plans and sales strategies for the EnergyPlus business unit based on market intelligence and related research.

6. Coordinate with the EnergyPlus marketing team on marketing communications, events planning and related functions associated with customer relationship management. Candidate Qualifications Candidates must meet the basic qualifications to receive consideration. Basic Qualifications 1. BS in Business or a related degree OR HS Diploma and at least five (5) years of industry experience.
2. Experience in an area of marketing, business sales or sales planning.
3. Experience in an area of direct customer contact, customer relationship management or related policies, procedures and processes.
4. Basic understanding of the wholesale and retail energy markets as it is related to marketing and sales.
5. Oral and written communication skills to communicate and achieve objectives.
6. Team and people skills to listen to feedback, identify solutions and build consensus.
7. Analytical skills allowing for the management of strategies related to customer segments and business activities.
8. Management skills to coordinate processes effectively and efficiently across the organization. Preferred Qualifications 1. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
2. Strong client-service orientation, ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.
