Job Description
Position Summary
The successful candidate will work in one or more areas like:
Reporting and Analysis - Compile and develop Supply Chain data in areas like Sourcing, Purchasing, Materials or Process Control to define current performance and identify improvement opportunities. Candidate may also learn Supply Chain specific ERP software.

Operations - Assist experienced Supply Chain staff transact daily business by processing purchase orders, receipts, invoices, contracts and other types of documents
Program Management: Support Supply Chain staff to further develop and implement key Supply Chain Programs in areas like supplier management, inventory management, sourcing and contract development.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of the utility business at one of the top utilities in the country. This includes participating in tours of power generation plants, substations and other facilities as time allows.
This a paid position for 20 hours per week during academic periods, and up to 40 hours per week during non-academic periods including summer and school breaks. School year 20 hour per week schedule can be flexible such as 8am - 12 noon MWF and 1pm - 5pm TTh.

Minimum Requirements
  • Junior status in college majoring in supply chain, computer science, business, mathematics, financial, or accounting (Sophomores will be considered, but Juniors are preferred).
  • Good organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be approachable, flexible, customer focused, self-motivated, results and team oriented.
  • Learn new tasks and develop skills quickly.
