Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Time Scheduler for the project scope Instrumentation and Control of a major international project.
In this responsible and challenging position you are in charge of the project I&C Time Schedule. The Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Time Scheduler will develop and maintain the time schedule of the I&C activities of the project. You will also update and analyse the time schedule periodically and report to the project management. You will manage the interfaces with other activities and inform project on delays and their consequences on the project performance.
The I&C time scheduler reports operationally to the Project Time Schedule Manager and hierarchically to the Scheduling Department. Your tasks:
  • Develop and maintain the I&C time schedule with the support of the I&C project team, Primavera P6 is used as Time scheduling tool
  • Organize internal meetings with the relevant project members in order to update the time schedule
  • Update time schedule with actual progress and sequence development
  • Analyze the time schedule results and inform project on the variations and delays, and support project in the establishment of solutions enabling to mitigate delays
  • Optimization of the time schedule and I&C project planning
  • Degree in Engineering/Project Management or similar field, or related experience plus 3-5 years of time schedule work experience
  • Technical knowledge in Instrumentation & Control
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Primavera P6 software and PC-based applications such as MS Office Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
Location: Erlangen, Germany with working trips in Finland and France
