Job Description

ABB is looking for candidates to fill up audit positions in the internal audit function. The audit function structured in line with the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Standards, independently appraises managerial controls throughout the organization.

The responsibilities of these challenging jobs with a lot of exposure to the Group’s senior management include planning and executing finance, operational and compliance audit / reviews in operating units mainly in Europe but also around the world. As part of the ABB internal audit network, the auditor will share knowledge with other auditors and actively contribute to the continuous development of the function.

Your tasks: Perform in-depth reviews in small teams • identify and evaluate business risks • appraise the appropriateness of internal controls, processes, procedures, and systems • assess and test the operating units’ adherence to Group guidelines, instructions, laws and regulations, SOX standards • reconcile audit findings with local management and write reports • present and discuss key audit findings with representatives of the operating units

The requirements: University degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field • ideally CIA, CPA, CA or equivalent qualification • minimum of 4 years of professional experience (e.g. accounting, controlling, supply chain management, project management, operations, sales, etc) • strong conceptual and analytical skills • geographical flexibility (willingness to travel internationally over 50% of the time) • excellent communication skills • fluent in English (company language) and proficiency in at least one of the following languages would be a plus: German, French, Italian, or Spanish • strong team orientation and good team player • self-motivated • good command of MS Office Software and experience with SAP or other ERP systems a plus
